Under Armour Shoes for Pregnancy

During pregnancy, there are so many changes to your body and so many things that you need to consider. It is a physical as well as an emotional roller coaster ride. One of the last things on your mind when you are pregnant is your feet.
As you get further along in your pregnancy, there is more and more weight and tension on your feet and your feet may tend to become more swollen. Thus, you do need some comfortable shoes to wear during this time.
Now I would mostly prescribe athletic shoes or Orthopedic shoes that are more comfortable, and that also offer a better fit than regular shoes during pregnancy. Under Armour, shoes are more athletic style shoes that have many comfort features making them durable and comfortable during pregnancy.

Pregnancy and Your Feet

During pregnancy, they will be many changes to your feet because of the excess weight, and also because of the hormone relaxing that is released to relax your joints and your tendons in your entire body, including your feet and the arches of your feet.

With these two combinations of weight gain and more flexible tendons and joints, your feet may flatten, and the arches of your feet may collapse completely. You may find that your feet also change in shape they become longer and wider. Besides this, water retention and other issues, such as the white on your feet, may also cause them to become swollen and cause foot fatigue.

Generally, we tend to grab our widest and most comfortable oversized slippers when we are pregnant, which is one of the worst things you can do, or even reaching for flip-flops when you operate. These shoes are unstable. They do not provide good cushioning or underfoot support during pregnancy.

Rather opt for an athletic shoe or an Orthopedic shoe that has a wider width to accommodate the increase in the size of your feet or for swelling, and that provides better stability and also cushioning for your feet, for the extra weight that will be on your feet, is more ideal.

Shoes for Pregnancy

So you are a few basic elements that you need to consider when choosing shoes when you are pregnant.

  • Comfortable Uppers – Look for shoes that have comfortable uppers, that breathe well, and that will keep your feet cool, and dry, look for shoes that are lined that will not cause friction, or that will dig into your feet. Up is such as mesh or flexible knit uppers, and even leather is ideal.
  • Well Cushioned – Because you are going to be heavy on your feet. Eventually, you need proper cushioning, not just in the insole of your shoe, but also in the midsole. So go for a shoe that, as a slightly thicker sole with good midsole cushioning, will absorb shock and a softer insole that will be comfortable under your feet.
  • Proper Fit – You will also need to regard the fit as your feet may change in shape and size. And as they may be some swelling. So opt for a shoe that has a comfortable and relaxed fit, and also it would be best if you go and go for a shoe that is available in a wider width.
  • Good Traction – I want to end off with the traction of your shoe. During pregnancy, you may be slightly unstable on your feet, and you tend to be a bit clumsier. Slippery floors or even regular floors can be a slip hazard so extra traction from your outsole will come in quite handy.
