Editorial Policy

This page explains how the guides on Best Shoes Women are written, which sources we rely on, and how we handle independence, updates and corrections. Our guides are written by Eliza Ward and Pavneet Lobana. Best Shoes Women is a small independent website, and we do not test products hands-on. Read more on our How We Research page.

Sourcing

  • Product details come from the manufacturer’s product pages and the retailer listing. When a detail comes only from the manufacturer, we present it as the manufacturer’s description.
  • Buyer feedback comes from public buyer reviews. We look for recurring patterns and treat them as background, not as proof.
  • Foot health information should come from public health and medical organizations, such as government health agencies and professional medical associations, not from shoe marketing, other review sites or social media. We are adding links to these sources in our guides so you can read the original information yourself.

Claims We Do Not Make

  • We do not say that shoes, sandals or insoles treat, cure, correct or prevent a medical condition.
  • We do not claim hands-on testing, lab testing or expert reviewers.
  • We do not present a brand’s marketing claims as our own findings.

Our guides are general information, not medical advice. If you have foot pain or a foot condition, please see a doctor or podiatrist.

Independence

Some links in our guides are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This does not change the price you pay. Commissions do not decide which products we include or how we describe them, brands do not review or approve our guides before they are published, and we do not accept payment from brands to include or rank products. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Updates

We update a guide when products are discontinued or unavailable, when prices or product details change, or when information is out of date. A guide’s date should reflect a real change to its content. We do not change dates to make a page look new.

Corrections

If you find a mistake or out-of-date information, please tell us through our Contact page. We check each report and correct the guide when we find an error.
